Hi bloggers!! Today I show you one of my favourites pieces of arts, is a work of Keith Haring, no name, but it is a symbolic meaning to the logo used by the Nazis identified the gay community (a pink triangle), about a group of people who cover their eyes, mouth and ears as representing the silence of the mass media on the subject.
This piece of art I met at an exhibition at the Catholic University, when a friend invited me to see it in August og 2012, at the beginning I did not know the meaning of this painting, I liked its shapes and colors, especially pink fluor is one of my favorite colors jajajajaja, but when I found the underlying message, and liked it even more, I found most original.
Keith Haring died at age 31. But his short life was prolific in art. He began scratching advertising space empty subway stations in New York for which he was imprisoned several times. But the graffiti in the 60s was considered an act of vandalism, soon began to look like a real art.
I love that his work focuses on human figures, which do not have a defined genre and action are constantly fighting and sexual passion, because the greater power of the human being, regardless of gender identity, distinction social or sexual, is to fight and not to remain silent.
