Hi bloggers, today i write about a last film i saw at the cinema.
The film is "No", is a chilean film directed by Pablo Larraín and written by Pedro Peirano, the cast is led by Gael García Bernal, Alfredo Castro, Antonia Zeggers and Néstor Cantillana. In January 2013 it became the first chilean film nominated for an Oscar for "Best Foreign Film".
The History: When the military dictator Augusto Pinochet, to be pressured by the international community announces a citizen referendum about its staying power in 1988, opposition leaders convince a daring young publicist, René Saavedra (Gael García Bernal) to head his campaign. With limited resources and under the constant scrutiny of the watchers of the despot, Saavedra and his team devise a daring plan to win the election and free their country from opression.
I saw the film in August 2012 in Cineplanet Costanera Center because i won dobles entries in a raffle. I went with my best friend Valentina, we agree that is a good movie to watch at home but, i don't know if in the cinema
I recommend it because is a very good film that appeals to nostalgia, a vintage look and in few fiction films and documentaries extracted images and television intertwine so perfectly.
I've seen this movie, I should... it's complex to do a movie about political topics, in which way you thing this movie disapoint the dictatorial period of this horrible person and the facists in general??
